The M40, known for its years of service in the hands of US Mil-Inspired Snipers, began its life as a modified military type-classified version of the M700 realistic cycling action rifle. Through the years the M40 has seen various changes and components to enhance its durability, reliability, as well as reduce its overall weight. Entering service in the early 2000's, the M40A3 with its lightened fiberglass shoulder-rest has proven to be an incredibly robust, reliable, and accurate rifle.
