The Care anti-plagiocephaly cot mattress is the first to be health-certified for the prevention of plagiocephaly and asphyxia. The Care cot mattress is divided into two parts, the topper and the base. The topper has a bubble design that reduces pressure on the baby's body and head by 70 per cent, thus preventing the appearance of plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome) or helping to correct it if it has been diagnosed. In addition, the numerous support points offer ideal firmness and prevent the baby from sinking. The shape of the topper creates air channels inside that favour the circulation of oxygen and the evacuation of CO2, making the Care cradle mattress very safe to avoid suffocation. In addition, air circulation through the channels reduces the risk of overheating and keeps baby protected and comfortable. The base (lower part, dark blue) has been developed to be the ideal support, offering the right firmness for baby's safe and healthy rest. The padding is made from 3D Airsoft fabric, which is hypoallergenic and very soft. The fibres are woven in three different directional layers, giving it high breathability, helping to reduce the risk of suffocation and allowing baby to sleep peacefully and safely. The lining has an antimicrobial treatment that protects baby from bacteria, mites and fungi, thus preventing possible allergies and irritation to sensitive skin. Thanks to its zip system, the cot mattress topper can be used separately from the base, allowing it to be used for a variety of purposes, such as: travel mattress, play blanket and co-sleeping. For easy maintenance and hygiene, the padding and top foam are removable and washable at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. Do not use a tumble dryer.
